P.C. RESOLUTION 00-54
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, 'FINDING THAT A "VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE
RIGIIT OF WAY OF SILVERSTRAN.D AVENUE IS CONSISTENT WITH THE
CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 19, 2000, to receive
oral and written testimony regarding the subject street vacation and made the following findings:
A. Silverstand Avenue is designated a local street on the City' Circulation Element of the
General Plan with a sixty foot right-of-way.
B. The proposed street vacation eliminating 16 feet of excess right-of-way will not effect
use or function of the street.
C. The subject street vacation will not change the functional classification of Silverstand
Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of
Hermosa Beach, California does hereby find that the proposed street vacation of a portion
of the right of way of Silverstrand Avenue is consistent with the Circulation Element of the
General Plan of the City of Hermosa Beach:
VOTE: AYES: Hoffman, Pizer, Tucker, Kersenboom, Chairman Perrotti
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
