AN ORDINANCE ORDERING THAT .A. CERTAIN PORTION
OF BARD STREET BEGINNING AT THE NORTH LINE
OF SIXTH STREET AN-D RUNNING NORTH TO THE
SOUTH LINE OF EIGHTH STREET, WHICH PORTION
OF SAID STREET IS BOUNDED ON THE EAST BY
BLOCK "R" AND ON THE WEST F1 BLOCK "U" IN
TRACT NO. 2002,11ERM0SA BEACH, BE CLOSED
UP, VACATED AND ABANDONED AS CONTEMPLATED
BY RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 488 OF SAID
CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
to Section 1. That all that certain portion of
11 BARD STREET
12 lying between the north line of Sixth Street and the south line of
0 13 Eighth Street, between Blocks"R" and "U" in Tract No. 2002 in the
3 14 City of Hermosa Beach, County of Los Angeles, State of California ,

Ko 17 California, lying and being between the north line of said Sixth

d 18 Street and the south line of said Eighth Street, respectively,

a 19 which said portion of said street is intended to be closed up,
20 vacated and aaandoned for street, alley and all other public purposes,
21 as contemplated by said Resolution of Intention No. 488 of said
22 City, adopted the 9th day of March, 1915 „ to -wit: Bard Street,
23 between the north line of ix S th Street and the South line of

Ighth Street, between Blocks "R" and "U" in Tract No. 2002 in
25 the City of Hermosa Beach, County of Los Angeles, State of Cali-

27 155, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Ingeles County,

lying and being between the north line of said Sixth Street and
29 the South line of said Eighth Street respectively.
30 Section 2. That said work is for the closing up of a
31 ertain portion of Bard Street more particularly described in
32 �ection 1 hereof, and it appears to the said Board of!Trastees that

there are no damages, costs or expenses arising out of said work
and that no assessment is necessary for the said work and therefore
no commissioners are appointed to assess benefits and damages for
said work and to have general supervision thereof.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by
one insertion in the Hermosa Beach Review, a weekly newspaper
of general circulation, published and circulated in said City of
Hermosa Beach, and he shall also cause the same to be printed and
shall post printed copies in three (3) public places in said City,
and the same shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30)
days thereafter.
Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of said City
and signed by the President thereof this /Y'day of May, 1915.
