RESOLUTION OF THE PIANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
HERMOSA BEACH SELECTING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE REDE-
VELOPMENT PROJECT AND FORMULATION AND APPROVING A
PRELIMlliARY PLAN FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE PRO-
JECT AREA
WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law provides that the City
Planning Commission shall select one or more project areas comprised of all or
part of a redevelopment survey area, at the direction of the City Council and shall
formulate a preliminary plan for the redevelopment of each selected project area;
and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission desires t.o select the boundaries for the
project area as directed by 1he City Council and to formulate a preliminary plan for
the redevelopment of a project area within the boundaries of the Redevelopment Sur-
vey Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT:
10 The City Planning Commission hereby selects and designates as 1he Redevelop-
ment Project areas 1hat area within the Redevelopment Survey Area described
in the "Description of Boundaries" contained in Exhibit "A" attached heret.o and
incorporated herein.
2., The City Planning Commission hereby formulates and approves the "Preliminary
Plan" for the redevelopment of the described project area, which Preliminary
Plan is attached heret.o as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein.,
3. The Planning Direct.or of this City is hereby au1horized and directed t.o submit
the Preliminary Plan to the Redevelopment Agency for the preparation of an
official redevelopment plan for the proposed project.
