HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 154-881RESOLUTION P.C. 154-881 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF HERMOSA BEACH RECOMMENDING REVISIONS TO PORTIONS OF CITY ZONING ORDINANCE N.S. 154, AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach, at a public hearing held April 23, 1973, considered its own initiative to amend portions of Sections 1162, 1159 and 708 of City Zoning Ordinance N .s. 154; and WHEREAS, after due consideration it is the opinion of the Planning Commission that these amendments are necessary and desirable to eliminate ambiguities in the ordinance by previous amendments; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Planning Commission of Her- mosa Beach hereby recommends the following amendments to Ordinance N. S. 154, as amended: A. Section 1162. Off-street parking, requirements for new and existing con- struction. Revise paragraph (c) to read: 11 (C) Before any additional units may be added to a lot where there now exists a building or buildings used for human habitation, there shall be provided, per- manently maintained and permanently available, two parking spaces for each existing unit, including requirements for turning and size!' (delete remainder of paragraph) B. Section 1159. Off-street parking, entrance-way to parking spaces; tandem parking., (A) (no change) 11 (B) All required off-street parking spaces shall be directly accessible from a street or driveway, except that where the required number of spaces are four or ~, ** one-half oft such required spaces may be tandem. No tandem spaces, required or not, shall be permitted except where access is from an alley or private driveway. 11 ** (deletion) C. Section 708. Lot area per dwelling unit.
