HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Resolution 154-935RESOLUTION P,C. 154-935 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF HERMOSA BEACH APPROVING FINAL MAP FOR TRACT #26111, LOCATED BETWEEN SECOND STREET, AT & SF RIGHT OF WAY, FOURTH STREET AND ARDMORE AVENUE. WHEREAS, the City Planning Co1M1ission of Hermosa Beach at a public hearing held November 12, 1973, considered the request of Sunnyglen Construction Company for approval of Final Map for Tract #26111 located in the City of Hermosa Beach and bounded by Second Street, the AT & SF right of way, Fourth Street and Ardmore Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission and City Council has approved a tentative map for said subdivision subject to certain conditions; and WHEREAS, the final map is consistent with the approved tentative map and a Sub- division Agreement has been prepared and approved by the City Engineer which will assure the comp! iance with all conditions; and WHEREAS, a proposed public park abuts the proposed subdivision within which privately held land is available for purchase and said land is necessary for public park purposes, and said pub) ic park will directly serve and benefit the subject Tract 26111; and WHEREAS, uti1 ity easements are not precisely shown on the Final Map and the utility companies have expressly requested such precise designation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach hereby approves said final map #26111 subject to the following conditions: VOTE: Ayes: Noes: a. That the Subdivision Agreement be approved by the City Attorney and recorded prior to recording of the final map. b. That the Subdivision Agreement include provision for the purchase and dedication of the northerly 70 feet of Lots 43 and 44 of Tract 451 for public park purposes. c. That specific easements for public utilities be shown on the Final Map. Comm. Burt, Rosenberger, Widman, and Chmn. Coll is None Abstain: Comm.
