A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF
HERMOSA BEACH RECOMMENDING THE ADOPTION OF AN
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT RELATING TO OFF-STREET
PARKING IN THE R-2 ZONE.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach, at a public hearing
held December 20, 1972, considered the request of the Planning Commission on
its own motion to amend Ordinance N. s. 154, as amended, revising regulations
relating to off-street parking in the R-2 zone and off-street parking for condo-
miniums; and
WHEREAS, the proposed change . in off-street parking would bring all residential
zones up to 2 :1 parking ratios; and
WHEREAS, the requirement of 2 :1 for apartments being converted to condominiums
needs additional analysis;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of Hermosa
Beach recommends the adoption of the ordinance amendment listed below relating to
off-street parking for the R-2 zone:
"Section 1151, "Off-Street Parking". (B) Duplex or two-family dwelling -two spaces
for each dwelling unit."
