A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
HERMOSA BEACH APPROVING AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY
COUNCIL AN ORDINANCE WHICH REMOVES THE SETTING OF FEE
SCHEDULES FOR CERTAIN ZONING PROCEDURES FROM N.S. 154
(THE ZONING CODE) AND INCORPORATES THESE CERTAIN FEES
INTO A SEPARATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, at a public hearing held December 13, 1976, testimony was
heard in regard to removing the setting of fee schedules for certain
zoning procedures from the zoning code and establishing said fees
through Council Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends that fees shall no longer
be designated within the zoning ordinance but shall be established by
City Council resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the present situation of having
fees set by ordinance creates an administrative expensive process for
revision that is inflexible, and that it is not consistent with other
comparable fees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City
of Hermosa Beach does hereby approve and recommend to the City Council
an ordinance which removes the setting of fee schedules for certain zoning
procedures from the zoning code and incorporates these certain fees into
a separate resolution.
