A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF
HERMOSA BEACH GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
TO LIT N . MA IN ORDER TO CONDUCT A WALK-IN RESTAU-
RANT AT 1109 PIER AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of Hermosa Beach, at a public
hearing held January 19, 1970, considered the request of Lit N. Ma for a
Conditional Use Permit in order to conduct a walk-in restaurant for take
home Chinese food, on Lot 7, block 88 of 2nd Addition to Hermosa Beach
Tract, known as 1109 Pier Avenue; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing, the required considerations were duly made
by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, notified property owners did not appear in protest to the proposed
establishment; and
WHEREAS, vehicular access to the site is limited, there may be problems
related to food odors and trash storage; and
WHEREAS, these problems can be minimized through exercise of control on
the part of the operators;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of
Hermosa Beach hereby grants the Permit, as requested, subject to the
following conditions:
1. Hours of operation shall be between 10:00 a. m. and 10:00 p, m.
2. Filters adequate to remove cooking odors from exterior vents shall
be installed and maintained in working condition.
3. Written evidence to satisfaction of City Staff that trash storage
is accommodated adequately.
4. The exterior of the premises shall be maintained free of debris and
in a clean and sanitary manner.
5. The approval shall be reviewed by the Planning Commission in six
months to assess conformance with above conditions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted by the Planning Commission at a regu-
lar meeting held on the 19th of January, 1970, by the following vote:
AYES: comm. Collis, Mulfing:er, Stabler, Watters , Noble.
NOES: None
