Smith was present and said that he wished to relocate these lot lines for both loan purposes and also because of' the tax set-up. Camn.. Via.ult suggested that the purpose of the Cominission is to· recanmend to the Council its decision in the light of whether or not the granting or denial of a variance.is good for the people, and ths Council ean then reviaw its findings and act. upon them as it sees fit. Coomo Fisher brought up the fact that there is an apparent hardship involved in this matter., in the probleJn of the present house being subject to a. loan unless these lot lines are changed .. Hayor Sacha.u said that he 1i;,-ould rather feel that the findings and recCl!ll-mendations of the Commission are in as final a. form as is possible when stit:mitted to the Gouncll~ instead of~ as Comm.. Viaul.t had suggested~ still needing much more res3arch on the part of the Co~ncil. Ceman. It is further recanm.ended that the property be limited to a single family d.W'alling. The reasons for the granting of this variance are to alleVia.te the hardship in the matter of loan value and tax situation. The motion was seconded by Connn ..
