(b) Carol Georges requested that the tape recorder be maintained
in operational condition.
(c) Carol Georges will submit request in writing for law like San
Diego's requiring lobbyists to register. (San Diego charter city.
Sec. 25207.1 added to Government Code 1973 requires1_those-`lobbyirg
before County Board of Supervisors to register and disclose, and
Sec. 9906 of Government code requires same for lobbyists before
State Legislature.)(This would be great help to City)
23 (Madam Mary Palmistry — Permit to Operate) to hold this matter over
until later in the agenda to give the city Attorney at opportunity to
meet with the attorneys present representing Madam Mary and opposing

days to respond, and that the City Council herewith continues this
hearing to the second meeting in December, other than a special
